About Me

My photo
Kathryn
I'm a short, fat person living with my dear husband and our greyhounds. These are Andy, Sara, Callie (aka Murgatroyd) and Mick. We remember with pride our darling bridge hounds Booty and Boola - still with us in our hearts. I am a cancer survivor - ten years since diagnosis and treatment. I am the very proud proprietor of Milgi Coats, our business which makes coats for greyhounds, lurchers and whippets. I'm particularly interested in dog welfare issues and love anything to do with promoting responsible dog ownership and reducing the awful toll of puppy farming and the poor way strays are treated. Those I admire include Sir Richard and Lady Isabel Burton, Dolly Parton, Brunnhilde from the Ring Cycle and Wednesday Addams (Addams family). When I'm not doing something dog-related which is isn't very often, I like reading, sewing and stitching, and listening to music.
